Excise Tax Returns
Expert Excise Tax Services in the UAE
Excise Tax is an indirect tax introduced by the UAE government to reduce the consumption of products that are harmful to human health or the environment, while simultaneously generating revenue for public services. Governed by Federal Decree-Law No. (7) of 2017 and subsequent amendments, this tax is levied on specific goods at the point of import or production.
Who Needs to Register for Excise Tax?
Registration is mandatory for any business or individual involved in the following activities within the UAE:
• Importers:

• Producers:
Businesses manufacturing excise goods within the country.
• Stockpilers:
Entities holding a stock of excise goods for business purposes.
• Warehouse Keepers:

Returns must be submitted by the 15th day following the end of each tax period.
